Love the Process, or Lose Your Business!

Building a successful Online Coaching Business is like building a car engine.

There are a lot of different skills needed to promote your business and serve your clients, just as there are a lot of complex moving parts needed to get that engine running.

Now, that doesn’t mean you need to go back to school and get an Engineering Degree.

What it does mean, is that you need to make sure your content, sales calls, social media, and livestreams are all working together to drive new clients to your business.

It’s a lot of hard work. And if you want it to pay off, you have to love every minute of it.

Your Mentality Dictates Your Reality.

You’ve heard this phrase before on my podcast. I say it a lot because it’s an important part of creating a successful Online Coaching Business.

Let’s say you were still working your 9-to-5 gig. Do you think having a bad attitude about your work will get you a raise or promotion? Not likely.

The same principle applies to your own business. If you don’t have a positive, can-do attitude, you’re not going to succeed. Your content will fail. Your livestreams will dwindle. And your sales calls will end in rejection.

When you love the process, the process will love you.

Shed Your 9-to-5 thinking.

When you work a 9-to-5 job you are typically working for someone else. You are building their business. As a result you develop a “time-clock” mindset. You clock-in in the morning, do your work, and clock-out at night. And at the end of the week you get a paycheck.

If you work really hard, you might get a raise or a promotion. But there’s no guarantee.

When you start your own Online Coaching Business, you are the boss. And the more work you put into your business, the more money you will make. You determine your own fate and your own business.

When you work hard not only will you earn more money, you will earn freedom. That is a powerful motivator, and a great reason to fall in love with the process.

Enjoy Your Failures.

It’s okay to laugh at yourself if you don’t get it exactly right. Find amusement in your failures.

“Oh, man! That TikTok skit I worked so hard on only got 100 views! LOL!”

“My White Paper only got 25 downloads! Ha! I can’t even give it away!”

Try to learn from your mistakes and move-on. Trial-and-error is the only way to perfect your message and your brand. So don’t let minor set-backs discourage you. Relish in them as learning opportunities.

Do It For Yourself, Do It For Your Clients.

Your livestreams, blogs, white papers, videos, emails… these are the tools you use to build your Online Fitness Business.

They are also resources your clients need. This is how you connect with them and give them value-based content.

Don’t think of these things as chores you have to do, but gifts you want to give.

Remember, you are changing lives through fitness. You are helping people be healthier, happier, and live longer.

Think about that. Think about how important that is. Doesn’t it make you feel great?

It should. So don’t let a little hard work get in the way of helping your clients.

Take Pride in your work and joy in the results.

Have a Dream. Make it a Reality.

When you have a dream or a goal, working towards it becomes a happy adventure. That’s because you have created your own destiny. You aren’t waiting for good things to happen. You are making them happen.

That sense of self-determination gives you confidence, peace, and happiness. Every step is a step towards fulfilling your dream.

Is your dream to make $10,000 a month in your Online Coaching Business? Then offer a Fitness Challenge to make that happen!

Send out emails! Write your blog! Do those livestreams!

The work is a means to achieve your dream. Once you realize that then it is no longer work, but a part of the dream itself!

Let’s Do It!

I hope you’ve gotten value out of this blog. It really is important that you learn to love the process. It isn’t designed to be hard. It’s designed to help you succeed.

When you have a positive attitude about your livestreams, blogs, videos, and sales calls, your clients and leads will sense this. That will lead to more clients, more income, and more lives changed through fitness.

Remember our car engine analogy from before? Well, think of your positive attitude as an oil change. Just like a regular oil change keeps the car engine running, a positive attitude will keep your business growing.
