I'm Going to P*ss You Off. And You're Going to Thank Me.

I’m going to tell you some things today that you may or may not like.

But this is the cold, hard truth you need to know if you want to step up to higher levels of impact.

We’re talking about success here. We’re talking about growth. And we’re talking about changing people’s lives.

So, in this blog I’m throwing discretion out the window, and I’m going to come at you hot with the knowledge you need to succeed.

Let’s start things out with a few questions.

Have you ever told yourself you’re going to start posting consistently to TikTok, and then you don’t follow through?

Have you ever purchased a business coaching course, and then you never study the units?

Have you ever promised yourself you’re going to get to $10,000 this month, but you’re still at $2,000 because you aren’t doing the work?

If you’ve answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then you don’t really want to succeed.

You don’t want to build a successful Online Coaching Business. You don’t want to experience the freedom and pride of being a self-employed entrepreneur. And you don’t want to break through and earn $10,000 or more a month.

This is why you are stuck where you are. This is why you have plateaued. This is why you aren’t growing.

Because what kind of business are you going to build if you can’t even trust yourself to keep your word?

If you aren’t following through on the promises you make to yourself then you are doomed to mediocrity, or worse, failure.

Still Here?

A lot of you have probably stopped reading at this point.

Maybe my words have hit too close to home. Maybe you don’t like hearing that you are responsible for your own failures. Maybe you just don’t want to believe that you have been breaking your word to yourself.

But if you aren’t going to tell yourself the truth, I will.

When you have an Online Coaching Business you need to treat everyone in your orbit with integrity. That includes your clients, other coaches, your partners, and most of all, yourself.

The Importance of Integrity.

Don’t you hate it when someone you’re counting on promises to do something, and then they don’t follow through?

The first time they let you down, you might let it slide. But by the second or third time, you begin to realize this is the kind of person you can’t count on.

If that’s the impression you start to develop of others who break their promises, what do you think it does to your own self respect?

You’ll start to develop a negative opinion of yourself.

“I want to get this done, but I know I won’t follow through.”

“I’m so worthless. I’ll never finish this on time.”

“What a piece of sh*t. I just spent the whole day doing nothing.”

This gives you a losing mentality that will impact your business, as well as your life.

Break out the Dictionary.

Let’s take a look at the actual definition of Integrity.

It literally means:  Being whole and undivided.

Think about that. Think about how it applies to yourself.

Are you whole and undivided in your trust of yourself? Are you whole and undivided in your character? Are you whole and undivided in your belief? Are you whole and undivided in your ability to follow through?

When you don’t keep promises to yourself you are divided. And when you’re divided you know you can’t always count on yourself.

Look in the Mirror.

I’d like to congratulate those of you who are still here. This kind of self-reflection can be tough. It’s not easy to look at your short-comings and faults, realizing you need to improve.

At the end of the day if you want to improve your business and your life, you need to follow through with the promises you make yourself.

If you don’t want to do something, then don’t tell yourself you’re going to do it.

But if you want to build your business, if you want to get on TikTok, if you want to get in better shape, then make that promise to yourself and do it!

No More Excuses.

But you need to also realize you will always be able to come up with a “valid” reason for bailing on your promise.

At the end of the day you will either have results, or you won’t. You need to drop the bullsh*t excuses and get to work.

You want to grow your Online Fitness Business? Do it.

You want to get up to 100,000 followers on TikTok? Do it.

You want to start earning $10,000 a month? Do it.

But as you make these promises to yourself, keep your expectations realistic. Build up to your ultimate goal by conquering smaller promises first.

Start building your business by committing to making a certain number of sales calls per week.

Grow your TikTok following by posting at least four videos a week.

Earn more with your Online Coaching Business by consistently following up on leads and giving your current clients the best service possible.

When you regularly follow through on your smaller goals, inch by inch you’ll start creeping towards the big goals.
