Today I’m joined once again by the one and only Cole DaSilva, along with BMark look-alike, Taj Howell!
We’re going to be talking about the founding and success of my first online fitness venture, Aesthetic Nation!
While reminiscing about how everything started, the one thing Cole, Taj, and I recalled was the intense, positive energy. From the start, we were all family. And it was that positive energy that attracted others to come join the family business.
With that energy came big goals, big dreams, and big ambitions. We were hungry for success. We didn’t just want to create a fitness company… we wanted to create the biggest fitness company in the world.
Back in those days we dealt with haters, just like we do today.
When we started Aesthetic Nation a well-respected fitness trainer in the Calgary area came up to me and said, “You may as well just fold your business. Online training is impossible. You should just work for me.”
The next year when Taj announced he was working for Aesthetic Nation, not only did he lose his job at the gym he was working at, but they banned him!
It was clear we’d stirred some people up. They were afraid, and they didn’t know how to deal with our energy and growing success.

I know all the ins and outs of online fitness coaching. I’ve made mistakes and I’ve had successes. But I’ve never given up. That’s how I was able to open my own gym and start an online coaching business that has not only brought me success, but also benefited over 600 other online fitness coaches.
